ONLINE HIRING OF PDEA AGENTS STILL ONGOING

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is still accepting via the internet applicants for male and female Drug Enforcement Officers.

To initially qualify, the applicant must be at least 21 to at most 35 years old; a holder of a Bachelor’s degree; a passer of the Civil Service Professional examination or an eligible for Second Level Position or a holder of Professional Regulation Commission license; at least five feet and two inches in height for women, and five feet and four inches in height for men; with good moral background; physically fit; computer literate; with commendable oral and written communication skills; exuding with self-confidence; with burning desire to fight the dangerous drug problem in the country; willing to undergo rigid training for at least six months; willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines; and, have a National Commission on Indigenous Peoples certificate for members of ethnic group.

Interested applicants must have their personal contact number and e-mail address to avail of the online hiring.

To apply, an applicant will first accomplish the PDEA Application Form in Microsoft Excel format, which can be downloaded from the agency’s website at www.pdea.gov.ph or secured from the PDEA – Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) regional office in Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The applicant will then e-mail the scanned, duly accomplished application form, as an attachment, to e-mail address: pdea_recruitment@yahoo.com. Applications will be accepted only until October 7, 2010 at five o’clock in the afternoon.

Applicants who qualified to take the Qualifying Examination (QE), tentatively scheduled on October 16, 2010 at Ramon Magsaysay High School, Erwin Garcia St. cor. EDSA, Cubao, Quezon City, will be subsequently notified through his/her contact number or e-mail address. Previously qualified applicants, including those who applied in 2009, will likewise be aptly informed.

Following the QE will be the Neuro Psychological Test. Passers in the Neuropsycho Test will be background-investigated, and will undergo Medical Examination, Agility Test and Panel Interview.

Successful PDEA recruits shall have an entry Salary Grade of eleven or PhP14,198.00 and plantilla position of Intelligence Officer 1 in the government service.(PDEA-CAR)
